“Later” is a post-apocalyptic thriller that follows the story of a brother and his sister. The story of how they find each other again after they grew apart in a world overrun by criminals. Their story is like countless others in the fact that they all have hardships, and the majority of them end far too soon. “Later” is a story about family, revenge, and blood. One that can be made into a template for every mother or father, brother or sister. This is a world where everyone’s story starts anew. Usually beginning with someone running for their lives.

The great tales of Africa meet the great literatures of the world: that is how this YA novel can be described. Can one imagine a situation in which the setting for The Little Prince becomes a setting for yet a narrative, and the Groke of the Moomin tales becomes a protagonist in an apocalyptic war? In plot movement, the animals journey from Africa to the Arctic circle to visit one of their friends there, but they find him buried in ice. Something terrible has happened to him and is about to happen to the whole world too. Can these braves join together to avert the catastrophe? This is indeed a unifying super myth touching on all the great myths of the world from ancient and contemporary Africa, Europe, America, Asia and the Bible.
It is a tale of war adventure, mystery, quest, romance and philosophical treatise all rolled into one. It is rich in themes that are of interest to young adults, like love, adventure, friendship and cooperation. Moreover, all the great tools of literature have been used to give this story a unique power and wit; poetry, drama, philosophy, life strategies and love of nature suffuse its plot.

A work of art dedicated to The Great Spirit of all creation, my mother who decorated two of my birthday cakes with miniature animals and a circus world in 1976, Zoo animals & 1977, Circus and animals. Also Aunte Claudine, who gave me a barrel of monkeys to add to the fun around same times. This idea ever since was to bring miniature animals to magic, and Adrian has allowed me create this with his authentic story… Also my Grandfather Max U. Huffman who taught me many things of nature and natures wisdom, and introduced me to the T.V. show Wild Kingdom, and also Dr. Pandya who saved my life in 1982 with 7 operations, and almost every evening he would bring me animal magazines and books. I wanted to be a zoologist, instead I became John. E. WordSlinger… To Adrian Onyando thanks you for allowing me to learn all needed to create this film. Most of all, to all animals killed for no good reason by humanity! Also to a time on earth when man and beast got along, and a time of faith when they will again, and to the biblical Noah!

READ, RECITE, COMMENT, and most of all CRITIQUE @ YOUR OWN RISK WARNING!!! …. -smiles and blessings….. lol… My Internet Writing Life Moto is- Keep it Poetry and Poetry Shall Keep You:, And Short Bio:Hazard… I have to take the road that Bruce Lee took towards the Martial Arts, as an Analogy here. Like Water; I take the Literature Arts of Poetry. In the beginning I used free verse, swift rhyming, lyrical, metal-rap-groove verse. With definition and aggression. Now I try deferent systems, in all genres, as always, And put them to my personal use, furthermore put to use what is useful when needed, and reject what I dont need at the time for a specific write. Using no specific way is the way, I am the way I write, but keeping in mind, the tools at hand. No limitations as the limitation. With all poetry styles ( trapping, and grabbing)- (Mind locks-Heart locks-Spiritual locks-) Honestly expressing ones self is difficult to do: The Poet, the creating individual is always more important than any style or system. Absorb what is useful, discard what is useless, And add to what is your own. I write my own interpretation of poetry. Concepts behind concepts. Dedicating to creating creative new-original thoughts, and poetry. Like I write with one hand, but if I could write with the other, at the same time, a different poem, that would be to break boundaries. As asking multi-tasking: Poetry styles separate poets. Style is a continuous growth. Poetry skills/tools are weapons and you have to use all of them, to incorporate all styles. (Move all parts of your poetry) Put everything into it, all energy. Rest then progress. A true poet is constantly growing, and when he or she are bound by a set of styles, or a way of doing things, thats when he, or she stops growing. To reach a reader you have to move to them, advance, and retreat- advance retreat, furthermore slide and step back, push, and push back, circle them ( put the reader on defense), and close them in, and hit them with the best closure. Poetry is like water, flexible, it has to go somewhere.
